The smoke curtain is manufactured from X32K woven fiberglass fabric, coated on both sides with an aluminum-based polymer to provide exceptional thermal resistance and durability. It is designed to withstand temperatures of 600°C for up to 120 minutes and 1,000°C for up to 60 minutes, making it suitable for demanding smoke control and fire protection applications.
The curtain is operated by a 24 V motorized system, with all mechanical and electrical components enclosed within a steel housing that is directly mounted to the building structure. Upon receiving a signal from the fire alarm system, the curtain is automatically deployed, descending under gravity to create an effective smoke barrier.
The smoke curtain has been independently certified and complies with recognized international fire safety standards. It holds an EC Certificate of Conformity (No. 1121-CPD-FA001) and a Certificate of Approval issued by Warrington Certification Ltd. In addition, the system has been tested in accordance with EN 12101, confirming its suitability for smoke and heat control applications.
