Industrial Fan

Local exhaust ventilation systems remove contaminated air directly from the source. These systems are typically used in processes that generate large amounts of dust, harmful chemicals, or flammable substances. General (dilution) ventilation systems are used to supply large volumes of fresh air in order to keep pollutant concentrations within a given area below recommended exposure limits.

Industrial fans are generally classified into two main types: axial and centrifugal. Axial industrial fans are further categorized into roof-mounted, wall-mounted, and in-duct types. Centrifugal industrial fans are divided into backward-curved and forward-curved groups, as well as single-inlet and double-inlet configurations.
