Smoke exhaust fan for hoods

The fans used for hood smoke exhaust are available in three different types, as shown in the table below:

Note: A three-sided hood refers to a hood that is open on three sides, with one side against a wall.

Note: A four-sided hood refers to an island-type hood that is open on all sides.

Reminder: The installation height of the kitchen hood must not exceed 180 cm from the floor. Additionally, if a hood filter is used, its pressure drop in a semi-clogged condition must be calculated and added to the total pressure drop calculated for the fan.
