Adjust the impeller rotation direction according to the arrow marked on the fan housing. For three-phase motors, the rotation direction can be reversed by swapping any two of the three power supply leads.
Ensure that the motor terminal connections are properly made by cross-checking the wiring against the nameplate on the motor.
Inlet and outlet ducts must be designed and constructed with appropriate dimensions and thickness. Additionally, suitable connections and flanges should be used at regular intervals to prevent abnormal noise and loss of efficiency.
When connecting ductwork to the fan, a straight duct section with a length of at least 1.5 times the fan inlet diameter must be installed before the connection to ensure uniform airflow.
For connecting the duct to the fan inlet, use canvas or flexible canvas/aluminum/insulated connectors. The connection must be made using a dedicated flange arranged in such a way as to prevent the canvas from being pulled into the fan inlet opening.
After installing the power cable according to the fan's electrical specifications, check the current draw during startup to ensure it does not exceed the motor's rated full-load current. It is recommended to use a contactor, appropriately sized bimetal overload relay, and phase control relay in the electrical panel.
A suitable foundation must be constructed based on the unit's weight and dimensions (preferably 20 cm larger than the fan base), with embedded metal plates for attachment to the secondary fan base.
The fan must be installed level on the foundation; failure to do so will void the warranty.
Within the first week of operation (maximum 7 days), check and retighten all bolts, and inspect/adjust the drive belts. Belt tension should be set so that the belt deflection under moderate thumb pressure at the midpoint between pulleys is no more than 1 cm.
Bearings should be lubricated regularly every 2 months.
A complete monthly inspection and retightening of all components is mandatory.
If any abnormal vibration or noise occurs, immediately shut down the unit and inspect the following components (bolted connections, pulleys, belts, bearings, shaft, etc.) to identify and correct the issue.
Any servicing or repairs must be carried out by qualified technicians. Do not make any modifications to the fan's original structure without prior coordination with the company's after-sales support team, and take full advantage of the warranty benefits.
The warranty covers the casing, impeller, pulley, shaft, and vibration isolators, but does not cover the motor or drive belts.
Failure to comply with the above instructions, as verified by the company's representative, will void the warranty. Additionally, any travel expenses incurred for on-site service visits shall be borne by the purchaser.
