Exhaust fans must be designed so that each section (each shaft) is equipped with at least two fans, such that in the event of one fan failing, the remaining fans can still provide no less than 50% of the required capacity. Additionally, the power supply and control arrangements must ensure that the failure or shutdown of one fan does not affect the operation of the others.
